03/19/2023Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue in chronically stiff areas of the body through supported, simple poses held for 3-5 minutes each. Areas of the hips, spine, shoulders, for example, have more fascia and connective tissue than some other areas, so gets lots of attention in this class.
No yoga experience is required and this format is beneficial for everyone from beginners to advanced yogis — and athletes will get a great benefit as will students who are just touching their toe into the water of rejuvenation and heath.

Teachers: Kristi Smith and Jodi. This is strictly a women's-based group dance class focused on somatic movement and creativity. It is a lovely space to talk, check in on self, move through body expression and love the experience of being alive. This class gathers from 11:30am to 1:00pm. 03/23/2023During class we will connect to our mind, body + soul.We will start class connecting to the mind through different journaling exercises, astrology, + learning about different spiritual teachings. When we move our body we are encouraged to stay in our own lane, honoring the unique design of our own vehicles. Some classes are power, some are restorative and most are somewhere in between. We connect to our soul through stillness, community, mediation, tarot + occasionally reiki and sound healing. We are grateful to know and share our pratice with different practitioners, through many different modalities.
Please always bring a journal, pen, water + wear clothes you feel comfortable moving around in. You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat + blocks + straps, but there are some in studio if needed.
Suggested class donation is $20, however, your time + energy exchange is the most important currency.
